On the new fb chat, can you tell if people permanently offlined you?

this person appears online in my sidebar but whenever i click on their name, it says _____ is not available blah blah blah
this happened every time i clicked on their name
but then i clicked on other people's names and it said the same thing, for a lot of people in a row but some of these people have talked to me on fb before, after the new chat was introduced
does anyone know what's going on?
do you think they all permanently offlined me?
but they have the little green dot near their name

No, it's just that Facebook shows people on that chat bar that you probably socialize with or sometimes they just have random people, not even if they're online. I don't think they blocked you or anything, Facebook can just be retarded sometimes.

no its because it now also shows people that are offline...
the green circle on the right of their name means they are online...

FB chat always sucks, and updates who's online/offline only when you pull up a new chat window. It's pretty common, and you shouldn't worry about it-you can't possibly think everyone, including your relatives, blocked you off of FB.
