Twitter not letting me change my background/design?

Twitter not letting me change my background/design?
Whenever I try to upload a photo for my background, I position it in the center and check the 'Tile Background' box. After I click "Center" and "Tile Background" and click "Save Changes", the page reloads and it has the default blue background with light blue clouds on it, tiled and centered. I've tried multiple times over the past two hours, waiting about 20 minutes before I try again.

Is anyone else having this problem? How can I fix this?
I do use the formats that are allowed. I'm trying to upload a PNG.

Yes I did had the problem last week. Unfortunately, Twitter only allows images in PNG, GIF and JPG format which is less than 2MB.
Try using other images which fits into their requirements. If it doesn't work, then Twitter site is having an issue.

I have the same problem; even after I made sure the picture was under the twitter limit it didn't work once I tried to tile it. I looked it up and apparently a lot of people also have the same issue. I'm hoping twitter fix it asap because it's getting annoying.

unfortunately you can't do anything but wait (or contact twitter support)
