I need help with my new facebook page. Please help?

Well I just made a new Facebook page last night but i cant figure out how to make people admin. Ive asked around and they've told me the same thing. i do it but is still doesn't work. i even watched a youtube video on it and for some reason its different. What i do is i go on my profile and then i hit edit page then admin roles then i go to a page where it says i have to specify an email address when on the video you could just type in their name and it will pop up. Do I need to change anything because i don't understand.

The person you want to have as admin has to like the page first. Then under insights, it should so the likes, and there should be a button that says "Make Admin".
