Ebay, what's stopping a buyer claiming an item is faulty?
I wish to sell my laptop on eBay, however it is rather old and slow, but works perfectly fine. My worry is what if I sell it to a buyer and after a week or so they do not wish to keep the item and claim it is faulty, and I end up paying for postage and having my time wasted. Does eBay have some sort of seller protection? I've never sold on eBay by the way.

EBay will always look after the buyer. Sellers tend to get a raw deal and lack of protection in my opinion.
Make sure you send items signed for and give very detailed information in your descriptions. Always look to see the buyer / seller feedback! Ads |
