Using same set of title tags, description tags and folder in a URL for SEO ?
I have made a website and used 7-8 important keywords in my home page's title tag and also in description tags. I have used the keywords in my page's content about about 30-40 in page density of about 340-350 words. I started the page about 2 weeks ago.The page is doing well for its keywords and improving on its ranking, its also on page 2 on google for some keywords.

Now, i want to add a folder to my home page to add 3-4 keywords which i already used in title and description tag.

Please let me know whether i am going on the right track or will repetition of keywords in my URL's folder will put my ranking down ?

Yes - you will be marked as duplicate title, content site and can hurt your current rankings with duplicate content penalties.

Yes i agree with peter,Duplicate content generally refers to substantive blocks of content within or across domains that either completely match other content or are appreciably similar. Mostly, this is not deceptive in origin.
