google chrome is not working?

i downloaded google chrome from internet after downloading a message also came that "thanks for using google chrome" but Iam not able to find chrome icon or anything.i checked my programe files i found a file name called google in that lots of files and i found installer.i clicked on it but no use please help how to install a google chrome

chrome or internet explore 8 in these which one is better?
please suggest me

Try to click on the installer again or download it again.
