Will employer's FB page know I added them as employer?
If I add my work information on Facebook, will my employer's Facebook page (or whoever manages the page) know that I added them as my employer? It's not that I post anything "bad"; I just prefer to not be spied on, just in case. The reason I want to add my work info despite not wanting to be spied on is that I get paid on a case by case basis, and since Facebook links work info to employer's page, we could get more cases if my friends know about it when they visit my page. Serious answers please!

Yes, they will find out because as you listed them as employer the notification will automatically goes on to their Facebook profile.

No, just by adding them to your employer list, they will not get any notification of that. There is no such thing like that.

But if your profile is public, your employer's Facebook page will be able to see your information and your updates. If you don't want them to see any information or update of yours, you have to change your accounts security setting so that only your friends will be able to view your information and updates.
