"Saturated food is not good for your heart but eating a balanced diet is."

Cheers Guardian you learn something new everyday

I bet even a 5 year old could tell you this

Yep, they are trying to infantilize us. I stopped reading newspapers/watching news years ago, since then I realised just how much brain washery goes on.

All this is a trendy obsession that is really a complete waste of time. By and large life is a lottery. My other half and I were commenting only recently how many funerals we had been to of people aged in their early 50s. All apparently healthy, one vegetarian non-drinker non-smoker etc.

There would seem little point being alive if you can't have some of the things you enjoy and if you do live to be incredibly aged how are you going to manage? The longer you live the greater the odds are against you retaining your faculties.

Old folks' homes don't seem to be very good places to end up and will you have any money left?

Eat, drink and smoke what you enjoy.
