Come up with an interesting story, employing the disadvantaged, donating fashion to the needy, etc. and put it in a press release that with luck some publication will pick up and report on. There are both free and paid press release distribution web sites, the free ones are more likely to only reach bloggers and automated new reporting sits while the paid services might get you seem by local mainstream media. Lazy reporters are looking for filler material with a human interest story.

You could directly send a similar product announcement to numerous fashion review web sites big and small, this may require a shotgun approach, contacting hundreds of sits in order to get a dozen mentions, some hire outsourced assistance to do this tedious work.

The "Branding" process, getting your product name recognized can be a tedious expensive process, some marketing studies talk of it taking 7 different exposures to a brand/product name being needed to get some people to trust it enough to buy. You may have to embrace the notion that any publicity is good publicity.

You can go for Social Media. In Addition, If u are interested for Google Adwords then you can create ads in Google Adwords and you can get the visitors to your website. If you are not interested for paid marketing go for SEO and optimize the website as per SEO Guidelines. Try to improve the On-page techniques first and then go for Off page Optimization and Social Media Techniques.Hope my answer helps you and all the best.

social media is the key and creating a brand and setting up a blog and all that jazz... you could try appealing to local businesses to help you advertise, if you are successuful, or expect to be, then you could offer them a deal. Make items to demand? start doing that for people and ask them to write in a blog that you set up and recommend you to others...know any dj's or otherwise cool people who could give your stuff away for free? sponcer a sports team (just a wee local one like, but everything to get your name on the shirt, if you cant pay them offer to make them stuff for free or design shirts for them) do you have a photographer or someone who is good at web design...make reeeally sleek flyers and put them in packs with condoms and stuff like that to give away in clubs and bars etc.
exploit students, thay are bad with money and have a lot of it (haha).... customise other stuff like skateboards, bags and hats etc with your brand. good luck matey
