Horrible Internet connection?

When i'm on browsers, the internet is fine but when i play video games, the internet is horrible. This is weird because this is only happening to me. It gets even weirder because at my grandma's house, the internet is fine. I can run everything fine.

My guess is that it's a combination of cheap internet and CPU. You may be able to fix the problem if you open up Activity Monitor (Mac) or Services (Windows) and check the processes. Then again, this is entirely from experience, so it may not work. Good luck!
