I really want an iPod Touch, but...?

I'm afraid my parents will say no? I haven't asked them yet. Christmas and my birthday are so far away, but I really want one. It seems like everyone has an iPhone or iPod Touch, and I wanted an iPhone but that's obviously too expensive, so I didn't even bother asking. They bought me a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, (which I know wouldn't sell for very much :/) and I'm wondering if I could sell that to get at least SOME of the money needed to buy an iPod Touch. I love music and, since I have an Android phone, I have no music-downloading apps other than crappy ones. Plus, it has cool photo-editing apps for Instagram. And it seems like Apple has everything that Android doesn't. So, how do I ask my mom to get an iPod Touch or to sell my tablet to buy one? I would ask my dad, since he would probably let me sell it, but he's deployed right now...
So, if I were to sell my Tablet, how much would it sell for?

Honestly, it's not even worth it. I have an iPhone but I started off with an iPod and there are just so many glitches and things wrong. It freezes, the battery life is awful, and sometimes it shuts off for no reason. Stick with Android, I've heard much better things about them than I have Apple.

Check ebay pal to see what they sell for on there & when buying & ipod touch or iphone check fb & type in buying & selling , & you will get a lot of choices & good price ones, hope this help
