Is AOL filled with users?

I'm just wondering if AOL has enough users to slow down my internet connection enough to raise my ping in online video games a lot? Because my friends have their internet connection like 5 Mbits slower than what it's supposed to be.

AOL's users has nothing to do with your speed. Also the speed you download things is often the result of the place you are trying to download from and not actually slow because of your set up.
