I have just started a few blogs and I want to look more professional by getting rid of the .blogspot that follows the website name and precedes the .com. How much will it cost me to buy a domain exactly like the one I have but without the .blogspot?

usually the very cheapest domains can be obtained from http://goo.gl/jZoL8. You can buy hosting from them or (much better idea) find a separate host for your site. I teach marketing and communications at the University of Arizona. For all projects I and my students take over the academic year I suggest the use of goo.gl/CNi3z. It has been working like a charm but it's always best to first go to a host's forum and check for yourself (by visiting the sites of other people) if they are what YOU need.

Lastly, before you choose a host make sure to have chosen the right domain! This is a crucial step towards ensuring success for your business, way more important than choosing the host.
