Google chrome problem.. please help?

Everytime I open google chrome i get the message:

Your profile could not be opened correctly.

Some features may be unavailable. Please check that the profile exhists and you have permission to read and write its content

I do not know why i started getting this message but i cant get it to go away...

I was told to go to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\ Then delete the "Web Data" folder

i went to the location but i do NOT have a "Web Data" folder at all to delete... what do i do?
