how do i regain internet access?

My computer had the pureleads ads malware on it. I uninstalled pureleads from my computer and restarted it. After restarting I can longer access the internet. The connection is there but I can't get on any browser. I ran my avast antivirus but it found no treats. What should I do now? How do I get access to internet again?

Restart your router. If that does not work, then you might want to go to BestBuy or a computer appliances store and purchase a Netgear Internet Add-on, which I recommend. I use it as well, though without it, I cannot access any internet AT ALL. It may cost about $15-$30.

Restart your Computer.

If that doesn't work, disconnect and Reconnect your Router.

If you still cannot connect to the internet, connect your PC to your Router using an Ethernet cable and flush your DNS:

Press the Windows key + R
In the run box type cmd and click OK
When the command prompt opens type the following. ENTER after each new line.
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit

If that doesn't work, take your PC to your local computer store.
