Usually if you sign up for a free website builder, the website makers will have their advertising on your webpages, and you will not be allowed to put your ads on it. (You will however be able to sell stuff with a Paypal button.)

Not only will your readers have to see the ads, you wll also have to suffer them when you write and edit the website.

Once you sign up, the makers will most likely flood you with invitations to upgrade to the paid service, which will seem tempting once you get tired of the ads.
