One night, I Facebook messaged two emoticons to a woman I admire. One kiss face and one angry face. The next morning I texted her:

Sorry for last nights clumsy fb msgs. Im still figuring it out. Wishing u deep insight. N dissolving the darkness with your new-found passion

Was I being sexist? Because that's what she thought.

I don't think you were being sexist but may be "wishing you deep insight" suggest to her that she didn't have an insightful approach. you should clarify it with her.
