Could someone help with me Netgear wireless adapter problems?

So, I have a wna1100 n150 Netgear wireless adapter that I have been using for my desktop for about a year and a half now. Lately it had been acting up, so I figured I'd uninstall it and reinstall it. After uninstalling it I pulled the adapter out and plugged it back in. Except, now it won't reinstall. The adapter never came with a cd, only the driver. I tried looking online but I couldn't find the exact version. I attempted to contact tech support, except for calling I'd have to pay money since it is older than 90 days, and their online chat comes up with a script error when I try. So, does anyone know how I could fix this? Thanks!

Hi There,
it sounds like to me that there is a problem with your wireless adapter.
If it were me I would purchase another wifi adapter to install.
