why did my friends ex remove me from his fb ?

my good friend and her ex called it off, it ended badly , however, i was friends with her ex, well fb friends and we fb chatted and what not 5 months after they broke it off, he suddenly just takes me off, i had no problem with him, he does have a new gf thats hes been daring for a couple of months so we were still cool when they started dating and i thought we were but he took me off, and maybe it was b/c the last time we chatted he though i was trying to get scoop for my friend regarding his new gf but i was just making convo,wtf, is this normal?

He knows that your loyalty is with your good friend. Its just not a good idea for him to keep you as a fb friend. He sounds normal, I would have thought the same thing that he did. If you were not trying to just get info,,you could send him a message to apologize.

If it was me I would remove you to.Not to be harsh or anything. I'm going to guess you broke up on good terms and there is no problems between the both of you. If it was me I would do the same thing, no bad intentions included.
