Why does wifi work on laptop but not on ipod?

My internet works on the home computer it's connected to and the its wifi works on my laptop but not on my iPod touch, so I guess it's not the signal, but it's not my iPod either because the wifi of other places works on it. I've reset the router, reset my iPod, hit "Forget this Network," disconnected my iPod from wifi, put it on airplane mode, turned it off and on again, and no luck! It was working for short periods of time but now it's been hours since it's worked; meanwhile the wifi has been working nonstop on my laptop and the internet is ok on our home computer!

Its connectivity problem, either your ipod or wifi router not detecting each other. Try to connect your ipod to your laptop soft wifi. also remove existing connection from your Ipod, and confirm that the connection should not be more. Means, you can connect 4 to 5 devices at same time.
check your ipod... wifi may be damaged..
