Vista won't load Firefox. Why? How?
I never had a problem with Win98se, WinXP, or Win 8.1. Each one would download and install the other browser no problem.
The laptop I got given to me, so I changed the administrator to me.
I have tried to install FF 6 times now(and always uninstalled the partially loaded one and try again.
Vista does have I.E. and G.C. so it does take more than one browser.
I just cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

Can Anybody enlighten me on this and how to make it work?

whenever I have a tough download like that I use ninite.com. I had another tech recommend it to me, and it works like a charm.

just out of curiosity, though, what worked on the 8th try?
