Internet keeps going down?

Only recently my internet has been going awol and I have no idea what the problem is.
I bought a new Belkin N300 about a month ago but this has only started happening since a few days ago
My internet keep going down sometimes every few minutes and it's really frustrating.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

Do you have DSL filters on every telephone, answering machine, fax, analogue modem and satellite box connected to the line as well as the one to the router? It could be a failed filter. It could also be a line fault.
