Google Chrome Installation Problems?
Here's the situation: For as long as I've been using Chrome, everything's been a-okay. It was all good until my little cousin used the computer and didn't shut it down properly. So when I turned it back on my computer went into CHCKDSK mode and I think deleted some things. So after it checks, I click the Chrome shortcut on my taskbar and it says the typical mumbo-jumbo, "Google Chrome.exe is a shortcut to application that does not exist, etc." So I delete it, and check the start menu folder, and the icons there are BLANK. So I do what I usually do, I perma-delete the folder and all it's contents and download Chrome again. I install it but then it says "Installation couldn't create a temporary file. Check for disc space and permission to install." And something like that. Can somebody help me solve this? And if not, could you give me another browser close to the performance of Chrome?
I've tried reinstalling Chrome. Still the same results.
