Over fb not a good idea?

I know its lame too but i asked a girl over fb.. Me and her were involved.. And we act like we're dating.. But i asked her on fb' what is our relationship atm' she was wanting to ask this too .. But it ended up me asking her out.. She said yes but was it a lame, stupid ect idea?

It wasn't a stupid idea but do you know her outside of facebook? If you do maybe meet up face to face and talk and maybe hang out together and see whether it leads to a relationship or not. If you don't know her outside fb then maybe ask opinions of friends about what to do next or find out who she is in real life.
