One simply cannot delete Facebook. If you wanna go back to your old profile, then simply re-activate it.

I agree 100% with you. But the answer is yes. Do what I did... totally fictitious name with an e-mail that has no real data. Now I can log into things and my REAL friends can find me. They are the only ones who know it is me.

Hide. Stay sneaky.

I'd say if not having a Facebook is causing your friends not to invite you anywhere or hang around you then I'd say those type of friend aren't friends and aren't worth having. I don't see why you should have to have a Facebook just to have a bunch of people invite you places or to have friend. Facebook is nothing but gossip. People just want to pry into your personal life with it. If it made you that unhappy, i wouldn't get it again just for friends. Go out and find some real friends....that will like you for you and not cause you have a facebook, the old fashioned way by talking and getting to no one another.

You're right. Lots of drama in Facebook.

I would say yes for adding just friends and family. No harm in that. It is not the only way to connect though, you can still call their numbers, ask how they are doing and actually communicate.
