guys - what idea is better?
not a technical question but just curious:

i am working on two programs currently as hobby projects, one is:

* control video games from distance with "invisible joystick". Like you punch in the air and the gta guy punches. You control need for speed with "insivbie steering wheel" and other things...

* a program that logs you in to facebook, instagram and so on with face recognition.

I like the first idea better but some guy here said it's a terrible idea. I am planning to make them open source and put them soon on sourceforge and etc. thanks!
@Thanks - yes, the idea is to make something microsoft's kinect - however microsoft for pc works for FEW games and what i've made so far should work on 90% of the games out there or so. Kinect for pc also costs 250$ and i am planning to make the software free and open source.

There is one problem with the facial recognition logging. Sure, it is impressive but imagine when people are logging to chase.com bankofamerica.com and so on and their twin brother stands in front of the pc...
...the program will then mistakely log in the twin brother. As facial recognition as of today's date can't be as perfect as to recognize twins - even humans sometimes can't!
