Why isn't my mouse pointer hovering properly?

So you know when you can just hover (not click) your mouse pointer over a button, a list, a game, etc. and it will react somehow? For example, if you hover over the "x" button on your browser, it will turn red (depending on what browser you have). Or when you right click and there's a list of options in which you can hover over and the option that you hover over will be highlighted/change color. Well, my mouse doesn't do that. I don't know if it's broken or if Apple is stupid or what but there are some online games that I like to play that involve hovering but instead I have to CLICK and then DRAG. Is there any way that I can fix this? Thanks so much!

I believe it's a problem with Mac + Chrome combination. Check out this thread:

Try with a different chrome version/browser and see what happens.
