What is the best way to buy an IPhone?

I really want to buy an IPhone in the next couple months. I either want an IPhone 4 or 4s. I will be using it for mostly texting, calling, taking pictures, and using apps (mostly instagram). Which one is better for me? How can I get an IPhone? I don't mind it being refurbished as long as you cant tell. I don't care who I buy it from as long as they are a trusted seller. I also want a good price. Does anyone have any ideas? Is refurbished bad? Do you know a good place to buy IPhones? Please help me! Thank you any info helps
PS. My contract isn't up yet so it will be pricier so please keep that in mind thank you

Now that the iPhone 5 is out, they lowered the price of the 4s to $99..
And the iPhone 4 is FREE!

You will have to pay for service, of course, but the phone itself is free.

If you want a trusted seller go to Verizon or AT&T.
