Playing World of Warcraft on phone internet possible?
Is it possible to play World of Warcraft with a phone internet connection in a college dorm?

Im not afraid to give up World of Warcraft if i can't but im just wondering. Only reason im asking is because im a competitive gamer and i do the arena tournament every year. Ive been doing it for years. Im actually going to college to learn how to design and make games. And they seriously have like more macs than you can imagine. They have a room full of macs of atleast 20 just for their hangout room on the school campus. And thats not even all of the computers. And they have so many wacom tablets and etc. I would assume they would have a decent internet if they can afford all those macs and wacom tablets.
im thinking of switching from metro to t-mobile and getting the unlimited data plan for $70. Im most likely switching whether or not i can play wow or not!

Nope. WoW isn't really that beefy of a game by modern standards, but it is still a little too much, and too large, to run decently on a cell phone.

It really depends on the quality of your connection. We had a guild member that used mobile to connect and he did experience some lag but when he moved to another town and used a different provider he had no issues. The only real way you will know is through testing unfortunately.
