adding classmates on facebook?

guys and gals what is your opinion on adding classmates on facebook, I don't really know these guys that well, we've just chatted a little in class and shared some jokes. I would say they are some where between acquaintances and buddies.

so it's not weird adding these class mates on Facebook is it? I don't think I will hang out much with these guys but adding them will make it easier to get in touch with them and develop an even bigger network.

so what you guys' opinion.
