How can i get an internet connection?

Everytime i try to do anything on my home pc that requires an internet connection i cant get one. It only happens on my account on the computer my son's and daughter's accounts are functioning fine. It just happened suddenly and it used to work fine. I cant find anything wrong with it. The connection to the modem is set up fine, i just cant seem to connect to the internet. Please help!.

sometimes on your laptop there is a button that you have to press that allows you to have internet connection, it is usually like an A and will be around the numbers or down the side depending on what type of laptop you are using, press this and you should be able to pick up the internet connection
