Are there people who are just plain lazy?
I am married to a woman that is sooooo slow to do EVERYTHING, she literally has two speeds very slow and stop. I'm not trying to be mean but it frustrates me, she doesn't work or take car of the house and has the kids or myself do practically everything for her. She's close to 400 pounds so I'm not sure if her weight has something to do with her not wanting to move that much or if it's because she's so damn lazy that she got so big. She is literally useless and if it wasn't for the fact that I can't trust that she'll take care of the kids properly since she's so lazy and useless I would have left a long time ago. So are there people who she have no desire to do squat but play facebook games all day? or is she mentally ill? She's been this way every since she's moved in with me 10 years ago.

Well, the weight could definitely contribute. I'm sure at that size even standing up would take your breath away. Was she that fat when you got with her?
I'm actually really "lazy" as people call it, it's really a lack of motivation not actual laziness. A lot of things can take away a persons motivation or drive or energy. Weight is just one factor. Depression, mental illness, feeling useless and worthless; all those and more can make a person just want to lay in bed or on the couch all day, curled up in a bubble of stress free space.
I'm also really slow, so slow that my friends call me "grandma" (I'm 30) but I'm usually moving slower because I'm focusing more on what's in my head than what I'm supposed to be doing.
I know you might not want to hear this but I think if you (and your kids) try to show her that you love her and care about her and maybe even miss her actually doing stuff. And tell her, every time she has you do something that u do it coz u love her. Or leave

Yeah, I would definitely say the weight is the main problem- it makes you sick at that point, it's not just about how you look. It hurts to move, it hurts to breath... she's got a real health problem and you need to encourage her to address it. If she feels better in her body (again, it's not vanity, it's about being able to walk with ease), she will have more energy to do the basic things- she's probably stuck on facebook games because it's a distraction from feeling like crap all the time. Close to 400 lbs is seriously obese and she's going to end up bedridden if there isn't some intervention soon. Approach the subject with sensitivity and support- consider offering to take family walks after dinner or small changes that you can all do.
