The American Heart Association has taken an active roll in promoting health based on Heart related Disease and issues, done studies over the years compiling Data in concert with Cardiovascular and other Heart disease specialists and Publish and shared they're findings from AHA and ASA (AMerican STroke Association) published HOW TO WHAT NOW pamflets for for folks who have had a heart attack or stroke or ANy Number of issues Related to congenital or developed issues as well as in many cased The causes of other issues (SMOKING, Diabetis, etc) and how they can relate to Heart disease...I began learning in 2006 looking to improve my health looking at dietary books such as a LOW salt low cholesterol cookbook...(as an Example) at that time THE Heart foundation's In Canada, In Australia, and 4 in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland Northern Ireland and Wales) each have they're own,, but each of they're web sites were One or two pages some general YOu should donate or support us Then, now several years Later They are Improving, BUT don't offer 1/32th the Information available On either AHA or ASA sights (http://www.heart.org) since 2009 I've been part of a small hand selected Member of a group Called the AHA social diplomats , we have a secret Face book Page were we can meet and discuss issues that we find out here in the world and if something happens where soimeone pops onto the AHA Facebook or website having issues or depressed over a situtation they are experiancing We have a group of about 30-35 male and female survivors We have people who were born with problems and as YOunger adult have experianced 5 and 6 open heart surgeries .... so If you were facing a similar situation it'd be nice to have a person to relate to right?
The AHA is so MULTI versel I cannot begin to take you to One page and spend a couple hours explaining it all, Then take you to the Candian or "others" I mentioned and show you why ... Mind you that the others are coming along but with the system we have had in place This hospital competeing for your Buisness, it forces everyone to push forward I can get better care Over there...
In Canada and UK and down under The Whole program socialized medicine so there less incentive to go all out .. too.... hope this helps Google the ones I mentioned .. your will see Night and Day
