Why the need for the U.S. Postal Service to advertise on TV?
I wonder who's footing the bill for their TV advertising time? (especially since they're supposedly operating in the red...)
I'm as surprised as when doctors and drugs began advertising...

USPS has to defend the nature of its service in what's a difficult time - and the ads are making a specific ask to Congress for relief. If they didn't make their own argument for their existence, they might go bankrupt.
