iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy SIII?

I am about to get a new phone, I can get the Galaxy 3 for about $300 or an iphone 5(64 gbs) for about $520 or an iphone 5S (16 gbs for $550) or (32 gbs for $650). I like them all, but I hate the ipod keyboard, but its not the worst. I have heard mixed reviews for both phones. But the galaxy is pretty old. I was gonna get a smaller iphone 5, but they sold out. so heres what I need from my phone I text alot, and surf the web, watch videos on youtube and netflix and play games snapchat, instagram. I like taking photos but not a whole lot. My old cell ran on android and it was really slow after a few weeks. Also I drop my stuff sometimes. I like my ipod but I drop that also, and even it has slowed down over time. My network is Sprint (via virgin mobile) Would the s3 be better for me? Its cheaper for sure, but I heard its sorta crappy compared to the iphone, and this phone has to last me a while. Advice please.
