how to make a wall post on someones page who doesnt have timeline?

This sounds so stupid but my boyfriends facebook page hasnt been switched to timeline yet i guess and i cannot seem to find the button where u can write a wall post. Weird thing about it is, i remember him telling me the other day that his did get switched over to timeline. But when i go on his profile its not in timeline format. I just wanna post something on his wall, does anyone know where the button is? Lol
