Ping trouble?
I play video games on my computer a lot, but when my family is using my wife constantly as well, it is very difficult to play. How can I increase my ping without buying a new router or a better plan? I'm with Rogers and I have a hitron technologies router. I'm pretty sure I am unable to set a bandwidth limit to other devices and allow my computer most of the Internet access. If there is a way I would like to know, but can I add something to make the ping better, not necessarily only for me but faster in general?

There's no program or anything that can actually make your internet better. If your on a WiFi connection, try moving the computer or Router closer. If you can get Ethernet use that instead. There is also small "WiFi Extenders" that you can get at staples for under $20. If all else fails, you will need a new router or plan.
