Slow internet on a new desktop?
Hello. I am having problems with my internet connection with my new ASUS M51AC-US016S. I have not yet downloaded any apps (except Webroot) or games and has only been checking my mail, Facebook, and Youtube. But every time I open them, it takes at least a minute to download the content. Does this has something to do with the new computer (like having a high processor, graphics, etc.?) or is there just something wrong with the internet connection? I tried restarting my wifi connection and has not helped. My laptop and other gadgets that depend on this wifi connection have been working perfectly well besides this ASUS M51AC-US016S.

Thank you.

This has something to do with why the computer is so inexpensive. The manufacturer gets subsidized to load their products up with crapware. The best thing to do is Format it and reload Windows 7. If it has Windows 8 you should low-level format it and put XP, 7 or Linux on there. Windows 8 is a virus.

try installing the updates and clearing any bloatware that you have if it doesn't work i would try refreshing the computer or by all means taking it back it can be a corrupted os etc. Or buy a wifi extender to see if it was the wifi or the computer, it could be thatthe connection isn't getting to your computer
