Virgin media internet speed?

I have up to 60mb Fibre Optic broadband in my house, and when I do a speed test on my phone (Samsung Galaxy S3) I'm getting on average 52-55 mbps whereas when I do a speed test on my laptop (HP Pavilion, i5 2.40ghz, 6gb Ram, win 7) I'm averaging about 22-25 mbps.

I know the Virgin media Superhubs offer two networks you can connect to, but they are both connected to the same one.

I've done anti virus tests, registry tests etc but nothings changing.

Anyone got any ideas?

are you running net from wired or wifi on pc if wifi maybe an update on the wifi card might help or card may not be able to handle the speed and you may need to think about getting a new one cant think of anything else it could be
