my internet will connect to google and facebook but not anything else.?
okay so i'm using firefox and chrome and both will connect to facebook and google, nothing like youtube and tumblr. but when i switch to my phones wifi it will connect to everything.

It sounds like whichever provider is failing has problems with its DNS server (the machine which translates word type addresses like example.com to IP numbers). Ask your provider if they are having this problem and when it might be fixed.
