Question Dealing with Firefox Browser?
Hey everyone, My issue/annoyance is every time I use a search engine like Google, the search history gets saved to the address bar or "awesome bar" which ever you prefer to call it. So when I go to type in a new address it gives me a drop down that has all these old search's that ive looked up before in the past. Basically I just want to see sites that ive visited before like, Facebook, Yahoo, Stangnet, YouTube. Not their sub sites and everything ive view in them. Pretty much like they do in Internet Explorer. For instance, if I go to Google and I search for Mustangs, Engine Specs, Parts for cars, the next time I type the letters M,E,or P into the address bar, those searchs pop up.

Ive gone into settings and unchecked the Remember Search and Form History but it still saves them.

If I uncheck the Remember my Browsing History and Download History it solves the problem of coarse, but then I have to repeatedly type the address into the bar again every time I want to visit that page. Its alot easier just to type in the first few letters of what I want like "You" then click on the "YouTube.com" link in the drop down.

I guess I just like things simple and this makes me feel like my address bar is cluttered with crap that I dont need. Hope someone has any ideas cause ive searched for everything I could and im out of them myself.

Thanks in advance

i get what you are talking about, but i think in firefox, thers is no way of solving it by yourself unless ofcourse you contact the developers. I suggest you use Internet Explore for the meantime. good luck

I get what you say about Firefox. But I would put up with that before I would ever consider using Internet Explorer. That is solid aggravation.

You can bookmark the page that you like and when you want to visit them again you can just go to the favorite menu. To bookmark a page just click the the Bookmarks menu and there you can find 'Book mark this page'. Click it to remember your favorite page then you can easily access it whenever you want.

To have a fresh search query, you can erase your browsing history under History menu. From there you have the option to clear everything.

Suggested words will always show in the search box of the google search engine when you type for a certain word or keyword. This is not an issue in fact this is one of google's features called instant search.

Google's instant search is capabilities not dependent on the the browser.
Even if you use other browser, googles instant search capabilities is the same for all browser.

Hope this helps.
