Absolutely you can send the mail from Gmail to outlook. There are perfectly no issues with it. One more thing if you want you can sync your Gmail account with the outlook. So that every time when you are getting a mail in our outlook, you will also receive the same mail in your Gmail. For this option you have to login to your Gmail and go to setting and enable the POP settings.

Just setup forwarding in Gmail account. In Gmaill, go to settings > 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP' and enter your outlook.com email address
