I don't want to date my boyfriend anymore?

I don't really have the same feelings he has for me, he was a really good friend before, and things seem awkward now. I can't seem to say I don't like him in that way either as my parents know about him, and I'm one of them awkward people where I don't like to say thing, because I feel bad. It's on Facebook and he's got his profile picture as me, but I just don't feel like I like him this way. I would love to tell him I want to go back to how we used to be, but everyone knows about us (we've only been dating 11 days) and he seems to have an emotional attachment to me :L how should I tell him, or should I carry on dating him?
