How can I get my hair Light golden brown/blonde ish without Bleach?

My natural hair colour is Dark brown almost black, I tried going honey brown but it ended up being an auburn colour & now I want to go from this colour that I have now, to a light golden brown/blonde (picture below) what would I have to do without using bleach to get to this colour?

I'm guessing to try using a blonde dye that lightens your hair if you can find one. It's not exactly bleaching it but I think it will work, at least to an extent
