I have already updated my browswer I am using firefix 28.0

Maybe you have an incompatible add-on.
Start Firefox in safe mode to see:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tro...-safe-mode
You could also try using Yahoo Mail on IE or Google Chrome.
