Cable company needs to dig up the ground?
It's Comcast Xfinity. They told us they would need to dig up the ground for us to get cable, which is fine. Once they start, how long does it take? They'll start on monday.

We're talking hours ( most likely ), not days to implant a cable from a main connection to the place on your house where the box will be placed. Our local cable company has installed their service to my neighbors, and it only took them about two hours, start to finish. They use a trencher to dig a "slot" about 2 inches wide and about 8" to 12" deep in which the cable goes. They then just walk back along the trench and step on the sod that was disturbed, and you can't even tell anything was done at that location. They'll make sure of the location of any gas, electric, water and sewer lines before they pick a location on the house to run the line to.
