Is it ok for me to come home at 12-1 at night?
I am a girl (16 years old) and the last 2 years I hav began to start hanging with new friends.... well I have a few at school but anyway. But I also have friends that I met them at prevet english lessons. Although they are boys we have chated a million times through skype and facebook and once in a while we hang around. The thing is that I cant tell mom that I am going out with some guys. It sound too suspicious to her. Today one of my friends wanted to have a celebration from his name-day by watching a thriller. I wanted to go so I went there without telling mom but when it got too late even though I sent message that I would be home a little late today she freaked out. The most bad thing was that My friend was leaving quite far away (I need a bus to get there).

So now I cant go out for 2-3 days -.-
Anyway, do you think that I am still very young to go out with new friends at this hour? Should I have come sooner? I am a bit confused cause all the kids at my age hang out that hour even though it is the first time I was late and far away from home.

P.S. sorry for the long text

I'm 16 too and my parents are the same. Maybe it was the fact you didn't tell her who it was, where you were, when you were going, that you were going, and you only text when you were there. She was probably worried. Tell her about your friends cmon the worst she can do is say that she doesnt want you going out late with them or hanging around with all guys together. You can assure her and tell her you'll bring a friend thats a girl thats shes met or ask her if she'd like to meet them or can you bring them over that might give her a bit more confidence to let you hang out with them Smile

if you were my daughter i would have freaked also-in these days SOOO many ppl (even if you talked a million times)are NOT what they seem - at that time of night there are drug dealers, drunks, pervs and all sorts of crazies out.No place for a young girl.AND you have got to be careful, ppl on FB and the internet say alot of things that arent true about themselves .I wouldnt be so mad at your Mom-she loves you and has your back and is just concerned for you,why would she want something to happen to her daughter especially at that time of night? It would kill her if something happened to you.
