why do people on instagram do this?

I was just looking through ariana grande's instagram because I was bored and I was reading the comments on one of her pictures and theres lots of comments of people saying 'omg you look just like her' then tagging a instagram account,and when I clicked on the link to the account they were all on private and the display picture was of ariana and In the 'about me' bit of the account it says 'go on one of ariana's photos and say I look like her for a shoutout' I've seen about 10 of these now,I'm not sure if they do it to other celebrities aswell,ive never checked..but does anyone know why people do this? at first I thought maybe so they get known as a 'ariana Grande look alike' but then that cant be true because they dont even have any pictures of themselves on their instagram for you to see that they look alike?
