Google Chrome not working?

So I downloaded Veoh Web Player and right after I downloaded it Google Chrome stopped working. Like when I say stopped working I mean whenever I click it just nothing happens at all and nothing comes up. I uninstalled Veoh Web Player and Chrome still isn't working. I read somewhere where people had the same problem and the uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled it again but it still didn't work. I shut off my computer and turned it on again hoping it would work but still no. Please help... I really need Google Chrome to work again

Uninstall the Web player or Reinstall chrome manually.
