I also told him to text me. He responded pretty quick, but I can't tell if he didn't get the message that I am into him, or that he is not interested in me.

His response was: "Hey (my name)! I actually don't have texting =/ Well I get texts but I don't send any out. Just lemme know on FB if you need anything. Hope you have a nice break!"

Currently we are only "class friends", in that we have not really talked about anything other than school and classes. I want to get the message to this boy I am interested in him, what would be the best way to tell him? Or from his reply, do you think that he was just telling me that he is not interested back?

I am not good at being forward, that is why I hide behind technology, please help.

Don't hide behind technology! lol You need to strike up conversation in person.. for him to ever think about talking with you, or beign attracted to you. As for his msg? it sounds like he wants to keep a little distance. just class friends. but don't pursue over FB that's a waste.
